Undated photo. THE WORLD-HERALD

This ran as house where Brigham Young’s wives lived while the Mormons were staying at Winter Quarters in Florence. It probably is another house on the James C. Mitchell property, which was mis-identified as Brigham Young’s house. This photo was from a January 25, 1916 World-Herald page titled “Brigham Young’s Home still stands at Florence.” The headlines, captions and borders were all hand-drawn. The photo caption reads “One of the houses in rear where plural wives lived.”
