The last sign proclaiming Rosenblatt Stadium as the home of the College World Series tumbled to the ground Monday as a crew cut it free of the scoreboard superstructure. The sign came down as the razing of the stadium continued. The Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is taking over the property. An Omaha businessman bought most of the signage at an auction in 2011.

The last Rosenblatt Stadium sign was take down on the morning of Dec. 31, 2012. KENT SIEVERS/THE WORLD-HERALD
